Whenever we do a new book, I always mock-up the cover and wrap it around a like-sized book (in this case JW:V2) once or twice, to make sure the binding and everything else is aligned properly. It also allows me to do hardcopy mark-up (as you can see on the B&W mock). I started doing this with our first book, mostly because we were printing a lot of copies and that was a lot of motivation to get it right.
