THIS BLOG WILL BE YOUR TOMBLR

the-lord-is-my-coelacanth asked: Were you and Yuko planning on attending the new NY Comic Con? Y'know the one in June that's supposed to be all comics? I'm not sure what their policy on webcomics is, but I'm really hoping to go to Special Edition NYC and it would be cool to see y'all there.

!! Wasn’t aware of this one, going to look into it. Thanks!

wonder-ann asked: Are you and Yuko going to be at MoCCA Fest this year?

We won’t be at MoCCA this year, unfortunately (unless we can last minute share with someone). We’ll be at TCAF and SPX for sure, and the rest we’re still up in the air about.

Full disclosure: our number one priority is to wrap up Lucky Penny this year. Everything else is taking a secondary priority, which is unfortunate, but we’re planning to hit a bunch of shows in 2015.

birdprinxe asked: DId you and Yuko intentionally name Walter's car Ophelia for the purpose of yesterday's page because if so that is some sheer brilliance

This is a week old, oops. Yes and glad you liked it! That joke went over better than we expected.

kaitlinpowell asked: Will you and Yuko be back at Emerald City Comic Con this year? I would love to see you guys and buy swag!

We won’t be at ECCC this year. I slipped on our scheduling, unfortunately. We do plan to be there in 2015.

I mentioned having a series of off-days on twitter recently, and ultimate internet sweetheart HamletMachine drew this picture of Penny & Walter getting cozy to cheer me up! It put such a smile on my face, it’s actually on the wall next to my monitor now. I love it when people draw these guys.
HamletMachine draws Starfighter (18+), a comic about hot boys kissing in space! I like how she draws intimate moments, there’s always a lot of feeling in them.
Penny and Walter are from Lucky Penny, serialized on johnnywander.com right now! It’s a comedy about a scrappy, down-on-her-luck girl who loses her job and her apartment, so she decides to live in a storage unit and figure the rest out as she goes. You can read it from the beginning here.

Hello friends,

People have asked me before why I didn’t just put a pdf up on Gumroad and while I never really saw the point of it, I finally figured.. what have I got to lose:

Nearly every thing I’ve made over the past 2 years (451 things), pay whatever you want.

Not every thing I wanted to put in is in there (I couldn’t find some things I was looking for..) and I didn’t have time because I have to upload this at work, but maybe I’ll put up another one with the b-sides once I track them down. I’m not interested in trying to make a living off of art, and I feel strange about selling a pdf—but it is quite a lot of things and I do struggle a lot financially so I hope you like it u_u

(PS the above images are just screenshots of my blog because I couldn’t think of one image that best represents everything? The actual pdf is just all single high res images in no particular order)

yoo hoo, I’m reblogging this to mention that I didn’t realize that gumroad didn’t take paypal—but if you don’t have a credit card and would still like to buy it, just send me an email at rachel.e.morris at gmail and you can pay via paypal and I will email it to you :>

Yo you should get this. Rachel Elm’s art always slays me, I really like how emotive it is. You can pay what you want to see 2 years of creative growth… pretty cool.
